| "TRUE DRAW" MEASUREMENT Most critical measurement as draw length is not adjustable Make this measurement on you present bow (will need helper) See drawing. 1) Tell your helper to use center of the arrow rest mounting hole (5/16" threaded hole in the riser that is used for mounting arrow rest, if 2 use the one nearest the string) as the marking spot. 2) Place mark on arrow at full draw with a pencil at this point. (need another person). 3) Measure the distance from the string grove on the nock to this mark on the arrow. Example: If your draw is 29" this measurementwill be about 27 to 271/2". Measure to nearest 1/8" 4) Tell me if you did this measurement with or without sting loop string loop is better) Use your standard release. 5) We noticed that archers like a bit longer draw length (3/8” to 1/2”) because of the string angle and high let-off (if they touch the string to the nose, then ½” to ¾”). Tell us if you touch the string to your nose. |

| I will add 1/4 to 1/2 inch to your draw length if you do not touch your nose to the string and 5/8 to 3/4 inch if you do. Bow feels (not actually as measured on scale, 65 lbs measures 65 lb on scale) 4-5 lbs heavier to pull than other bows, the longer draw in some cases makes up for dropping your bow 5 lbs. |
